Aura Kasih, singer and very talented young lady, prefers to wear sexy clothes.
Pop singer Aura Kasih is now making her latest video clip for the song "Jangan Bilang Siapa-Siapa", and hopes that this time her work won't be censored, as her previous video "Mari Bercinta" was. She always keeps a watch on her facial expressions and body posture on camera to make sure she isn't being vulgar, she says.
The uncensored version of "Mari Bercinta".
Aura says she wears short skirts and tops not because she wants to appear sexy, but simply because it is an expression of her simple personality:
I like fashion that is simple, like mini skirts and tank tops.

Of the "Mari Bercinta" controversy Aura avers that she could see nothing sexy about the video, and that: [1]
Sexy is just in the eye of the beholder.
The singer's full name is Sanny Aura Syahrani and she says the stage name 'Aura' was chosen over 'Sanny' because it means 'pure energy emanating from the body'. She has plenty of that.
Cute face but frankly she doesn’t have what it takes to be an entertainer without, of course, the help of heavy make up and minimal cotton. I love Britney Spears, although she doesn’t have a great voice but she knows how to steal a show with her great performance. I’ve seen some of Aura Kasih performance on TV both live and recorded; very lame and boring. It’s okay to do a lip-sync but she should’ve been more energetic while performed on the stage. Cheers to Aura Kasih fans!
She doesn’t have the face to be a biatch. Why doesn’t she just stick to yovie widianto’s type of songs….
Just another victim of society.
No offence to the Indonesian entertainer-ladies but IMHO they could still learn a lot from their black hip-hop and R&B counterparts.
Isana, looks like the Majapahit flag there as your avatar…. there’s a sort of funny and weird karaoke version of the song by some boys –
, probably inspired by
Devi I liked Britney as well, frankly, but when she still wore clothes, her ‘cute’ phase, it was all downhill after that.
@ Patung
Sir, I’m impressed by your knowledge. Yes it’s the Majapahit flag.
…about that link you gave us, man, that clip got me freaked out.
Oh yeah, I’m the new guy. Hi everybody…
Hmm…
cute… but i love anggun much better… have the voice, have the brain, have the look.. great performers..
(sorry.. i don’t really like her voice or song)

Could that have inspired the Malaysian flag? Or even the merah-puti (rather than the story that the Dutch blue was ripped off)
merah putih (indonesian flag) was actually inspired by the flag of mojopahit.
while malaysia, a copy-cat as it is, simply copied the flag of united states of america, with an islamic twist to show their loyalty to their arab masters.
you can find more references about this in: harvardbibliothec.org.
thank you,

UMNO too, was inspired by mojopahit.
Apologies for creating a thread totally unrelated to the original issue, hehehe… but if Indo flag was inspired by Mojopahit, then why not just copy it? The stripes are all the same.
ut if Indo flag was inspired by Mojopahit, then why not just copy it? The stripes are all the same.
it would be harder for ibu fatmawati to sew several red and white stripes, given a very short time before independence declaration, compared to putting together two pieces of red and white cloth
oh yeah, hi everybody. I’m just an occasional lurker
We don’t really know that was the Majapahit flag (since flags tend to wear out quickly in Indonesia), but that great myth-maker Muhammad Yamin put together a good case that it might have been, and therefore was suitable for the Indonesian flag.
But the stripes of the US flag are probably based on the English East India Company’s flag, and who knows, perhaps the EIC got the idea of Java??

I read that too. According to one website, EIC copied Majapahit flag’s striped.
Zekky,
Which website was it? Could you tell us?
FYI, Indonesia was supposed to be Dutch East India Company, the VOC, or Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie.
But, the British occupied Java once in a while though.

Aura just isn’t that interesting is she…
loneAbe, I think I read it in the amazing Wikipedia
LOL Patung, I feel almost sorry for Aura that a blog about her’s turned into this, hahaha.
Hahahaha, yeah at this point, the flag topic is much more interesting to talk about. Perhaps if she were to make a bold appearance by appearing topless or so (haha topless is already quite bold here), then the flag could be put aside for next blog’s entry. Nonetheless, Aura Kasih is cute and she’s got perfect curves, just looks little bit too old, doesnt she. She’s freakin 21…she looks like around 27 or so, IMO.
