Pastor Bob Old of the Disciples of Christ church in Springfield, Tennessee, USA, who burned copies of the Quran on September 11th, was rumoured to have died a week after the Quran desecration, having been said to have burned to death in a car accident, a story that turned out to have been a hoax.

Some local news networks however ran with the story, such as Inilah.com, which featured the reaction of a senior member of the Justice Party/Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) to the fake news, Quran Burning Pastor Dead, Cleric Thanks God inilah

Jazuli Juwaini, a member of the PKS’s governing council (Majelis Syuro), said of the news:

Glory to God, that’s a just punishment for burning the Quran, that’s God’s answer to him [Bob Old]

The bloodthirsty Jazuli went on:

This is not just a lesson for those who want to burn the Quran, but also for Muslims themselves, it teaches that the Quran is holy and there can be no doubting it.

   And even keep believing it after they’ve shown its false.

   about a girl who is cursed by allah for kicking quran and turned into a fish person thing.
   You could explain all day that this is just a video of a guitarfish, its a real kind of fish found in the ocean. This is easy to look up with 5 minutes of investigation.
   But it doesnt matter, dumb people just watch it and leave their fearful comments, and just accept it as truth.

   The local press have to take some responsibility for this state of affairs. The Indonesian press corps must be the second most credulous in the world (after British tabloids).

   They will literally print ANYTHING (especially if an amplop finds its way into the right hands).
