Oigal- with all due respect you’re not Indoneisa, so your opinion, which appears emotively based and uneducated at best, is not worth considering
LOL, Tell us your own political affillations and gain just a little credability. Although you are not on your own thinking my opinion is not worth considering.. You remind me of the idiots who write on the bottom of letters “for your consideration” maximum stupid..the mere fact I have read the letter, means i have considered it..even if it contains the kind of claptrap such as..
.
Bakrie, Prabowo and Megawati are loved by the people
..
Well I will give one out of three..two of the others are a national and international joke (and not so funny). Actually all are amusing but one at least seems to hold a certain place in peoples hearts despite the facts.
Anti Chinese may be a western taboo- but in Indonesia it is historically and currently justifiable and patriotic.
Actually, this kind of hate is just as ugly and pathetic in Indonesia as anywhere else. Besides, in Prabowo’s case, it’s just a tool in his pursuit of power…those who take it as heartfelt are naive in the extreme.
As for the elections…I have to say it’s pretty amazing what Indonesia has done in such a short time. Even with all the golputs, think the voting rate is still higher than in the USA.
Mega forming a coalition with Prabowo and Wiranto. Pembela rakyat kecil teaming up with murderers. Awesome. A bunch of sore losers moaning and bitching for the months to come because AGAIN they lose to the better candidate. It’s such a joy to watch. Golkar should join them…
I am a malaysian here and i am very proud of indonesia to have such a great democracy system in place, I have my maid who is indonesian vote because the embassy of indonesia send out postage voting to my address so that my maid can get to vote, every vote counts “surat suara”, now that’s democracy to me and I hope you people will have a smooth transition of power.
Was anyone else completely spooked by Wiranto’s looming face and chastising finger leering down from billboards all over town? [shivers]

I certainly enjoyed the irony seeing his face next to the text ‘Jangan bohongi rakyat lagi’…
Mega forming a coalition with Prabowo and Wiranto. Pembela rakyat kecil teaming up with murderers. Awesome.
Better yet: pembela rakyat kecil teaming up with two murderers who loathe each other, and whose personal animosity led to ethnic riots
Let’s stop talking non sense and try to grow up a little bit. By looking back at the 2004 election you all should realize out of nowhere, never hearing any campaign they’re going through or seeing their not to many commercial on tv, partai demokat manage to become in the 5 big league and vote are being collected through the internet (well isn’t Indonesia a very self esteem country having adequate brilliant IT staff to prevent hacker going through the results). Now any stupid person who can add 2 by 2 should already know is it really possible knowing the results by only collecting 1,000,000 vote that will represent the voice of 180,000,000 of voters? LOOK closely how the percentage of each party is changing throug time (no significant changes) ! Does that mean in every 100 remaining indonesian people 20 vote for PD, 14 for PDI-P, 14 for Golkar, aso. ONLY MONKEYS DOES SUCH LOGIC CALCULATIONS.
Now on the other hand to become a CALEG almost every political party here demand a fee from the candidate and by doing campaign these CALEG again spending more money. Now by spending such amount of money which in most case are bigger than what they are going to receive (remember after becoming a legislator they still have the obligation to pay up to their parties). The question is how will they cover up their expenses by being a clean legislator. Now look again when Aceh became a victim of Sunami, no single legislator have I seen showing any sympathy on tv and do something for those victims. Again after 2 years of lapindo which of those legislator is trying to help these victims even the government itself never responds to this. So what’s the importance of PEMILU ?????
Now any stupid person who can add 2 by 2 should already know is it really possible knowing the results by only collecting 1,000,000 vote that will represent the voice of 180,000,000 of voters?
Not sure I understand what you are getting at…are you claiming that you can’t statistically sample from a larger population?
Mbah:

Err…. Yeah it is possible. If you pick the 1 millions random enough.
In fact, i can safely say, without that “enough random samplings can closely represent the truth” concept, the entire modern nuclear technology can not exist.
Heck, without applying that statistical concept on internet routers logic, even YOUR post could not possibly exist.
If you cannot grasp that concept, perhaps you should go back to sma kelas 3, mbah.
(anyway, 2+2 equals to 11 in base 3 numbers, equals to 10 in base 4, equals to 4 in base 5 and up )
Mbah:
never hearing any campaign they’re going through or seeing their not to many commercial on tv, partai demokat
Err… they don’t need to. If SBY showed up on tv or newspaper once a day, their coverage already greater than any party, perhaps combined. Even everytime megawati showed up on tv to criticize SBY, his party’s coverage is going up.
Again after 2 years of lapindo which of those legislator is trying to help these victims
Exactly why GOLKAR went down, they have daily negative coverage.
isn’t Indonesia a very self esteem country having adequate brilliant IT staff to prevent hacker going through the results
Well, if you don’t believe the IT people, why don’t you just wait the manual calculations, TPS by TPS? then you can random sampling the result of the TPS at your own city. No need ngomel-ngomel… 🙂
ONLY MONKEYS DOES SUCH LOGIC CALCULATIONS.
Einstein did similar calculations. Ergo, einstein was a monkey?
Mbah, a basic course in statistics might help.
Demokrat (31) Party Leading… and when is the poll going off?
I am not an indonesia but I am with ur Vote Good…..
Thanks
Well I pray the Better Party should Win… A party that will be Change to Indonesians…..
You people Need God intervention.. to Make a better choice……
God will choose a better choice
Amen
Nice pic from the JakGlobe. Opportunism a la Indonesia in a nutshell.
it needs captions though.
Wiranto: I am so handsome!
Mega: You are a means to an end, Wiranto…my return to power!
Prabowo: I should have paid to have you both killed 10 years ago! Then this coalition would be MINE!
Gus Dur: fdhjskeaknjfdjfljvfsdljksljdfksleuijfailajiwljaidlw aefjeialjsilfjiesljkslaijwjfilejsilghisl
I would like to thank KPU for helping my party GOLPUT) get more votes than any others, thanks guys!

When it goes well it can be great fun seeing your kids on TV and I found that with my elder boy it was a huge confidence boost for him, but it can be a bit stressful too on all concerned.
I regard myself as the ‘circuit breaker’ in the whole thing. I’m happy to go along with it and enjoy the experience but if it looks like it’s getting out of hand (the studios messing around or my wife getting too carried away and pushing the kids too much) then I shut the operation down instantly. Without me there will be no deal and I have made it clear to my wife, the agents and the directors in numerous occasions that I have a very low tolerance level if I think my kids are not being treated right. I simply lift them up, put them in the car and drive off. That usually has a calming effect on everyone involved.
Email me if you’d like to discuss it further.
