The “The Little Green Data Book” of the World Bank, part of the bank’s “World Development Indicators 2006” series.

Indonesia is included in the East Asia and Pacific region which is comprised of American Samoa, Cambodia, China, Fiji, Indonesia, Kiribati, Korea, Dem. Rep., Lao PDR, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Fed. Sts., Mongolia, Myanmar, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Vanuatu, Vietnam.

Indonesia is included in the Lower Middle Income Group. The criteria for the groups are as follows:

  • Low-income economies are those with a GNI per capita of $825 or less in
    2004.
  • Middle-income economies are those with a GNI per capita of more than $825
    but less than $10,066.
  • Lower-middle-income and upper-middle-income economies
    are separated at a GNI per capita of $3,255.
  • High-income economies are those with a GNI per capita of $10,066 or
    more.
