Local people in Tasikmalaya are roused to action to prevent mysterious cave men rituals.
In Cibalong, Tasikmalaya, West Java a religious cult called Amanah Keagamaan Illahi (AKI) is said to make use of a cave, called “Kecana Wulung”, to carry out rituals of an uncertain nature, once a year.
Dozens of local people however were having none of the cave rituals, however infrequent they were, and on December 18th they sealed the entrance to the cave.
Those responsible for the cave-sealing action came from anti-heresy groups such as Gerakan Anti Masyarakat Aliran Sesat (Germas) and Forum Rakyat Madani (FRM), and were accompanied by members of the Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) branch of Tasikmalaya.
They carried banners and posters that spoke of their rejection of any form of heresy or deviation from Islamic norms. antara
