In person, these bunch of morons are the same ones whose a$$ still stucked with our boots when they tried to mess up with our rightful cafes in Kemang some years back. They love to blow lots of hot airs and their mouths are full with venomous agitation so virulent because of their inability to healthily vent out their frustration for being morons.

The level headed Indonesians will think more on how we could cope (as a nation) with the continued weakening of the US$, the skyrocketing oil price (US$122/barrel – quoted price of today), te sustainability of our domestic stapple food (rice) production, and keeping the population growth under control (now still slightly below 2%) – which will still double our population in 36 years.

Given the current map of Indonesian politics, my take is that this Lubis guy is in the payroll of someone, who will benefit of the chaos he attempted to create. These outfits or persons are so politically horny to grab the presidential seat in the next year’s election, and they are so experienced in creating chaos. Any clue who they are?

  2. Rambutan says:

Habib Riziq of the FPI is saying he will “deal with” the preachers who said “provocative” things in the video. And also that he has been to the police and wants to have those who are spreading the video on the internet prosecuted because they don’t own the rights to it. kompas.

Yep, and he said the ‘anarchic’ behaviour of FPI is a thing of the past. Somehow, I have difficulties believing this.

  3. jaka says:

And despite critics everywhere on this speech, he is still around and spreading his hatred. Oh, how I love my government. (If somebody should report the police because he spreads hatred – which is against the criminal law – why nobody does that? funny. Or is it actually ‘just for fun’?)

  4. Andy says:

Trouble is the ‘moderate’ Indonesians won’t stand up to these thugs and also won’t condemn them in front of foreigners. Until they have the guts to say what is right and wrong, they will continue on their merry way.

  5. Enigmatic says:

Video is an insult to Islam. And to our intelligence. And to think it goes on openly. What the heck is the Government doing?

Even Malaysia or Singapore won’t allow this…

Just one reason why I’m staying away from the country and study in Singapore.

Yet here we are, listening to all this crap. Burn the Istana? Kill the Vice Pres and President? This is madness.

The Indonesian Government better know what to do. If not, anyone with the Death Note or some ancient curse that can kill mysteriously best take out these idiots.

    Oh, the perils of indifference.

Trouble is the ‘moderate’ Indonesians won’t stand up to these thugs and also won’t condemn them in front of foreigners. Until they have the guts to say what is right and wrong, they will continue on their merry way.

Well problem is no one dares. Seriously. Besides if FPI were disbanded, imagine the consequences… Think protests, riots, etc…

On a side note, the guy in white in the picture looks like a Stormtrooper in Hoth from Star Wars doesn’t he?

  7. Deng Xiao Phing says:

majority muslim don’t care about living progression, economy & prosperity like kyai Bashyir’s lecturers. So what can you do ? this country will never prosper because of the majority adopting backward ideology. The only way to cure the recent caotic islamic affairs in Indonesia, we must let them destroy & killing each other one more round, we will watch & see who will be the winner.
We only need 1 dominant muslim winner to calm our local islamic affairs, today we have too many muslim ideology versions, confuse & waste of time, then hopefully this country will proceed business as usual peacefully. In the meantime, if u don’t like to see them AMOK & killing each other, you better stay away from Indon. If they keep on killing each other like chickens then you better return back your green passport to the nearest embassy Indon, full stop

    FPI must be “bubar”.f*ck fpi

  11. orange juice says:

Actually these people are required to maintain balance in indonesia, they provoke others to see islam differently (negatively), therefore it somehow holds down islam movement and progress in indonesia, and thus maintain indonesian neutral status.. I wouldn’t be worried that they’ll grow big, they won’t, they are actually just really small group compare to those who oppose them.. they seem big because the media blow them up.. (fortunately) negatively.

Furthermore, it is already a publicly kept secret that the brain behind this group is actually just bunch of military thugs, and in addition to using this group to (surprisingly) somehow control national stability (thru chaos), they’re also using them (along with fbr, pp, and other fanatic mass organizations) to raise “security funds”.

If you travel to jakarta, the very home of this group, go sightseeing at night to certain (obvious) red light area, you will find that all those gambling, drugs, alcohol, prostitution etc. are still easily available to anyone, even in ramadhan, even with the ongoing news of fpi raiding places in jakarta.

Those who got raid are actually just those who can’t afford to or simply won’t contribute to the security funds or just those who are too big to go unnoticed (of course they’ll be warned and be included in the raid planning and be back in business in 2 or 3 days).. you’ll see this kind of story every now and then here.

This truly is a corrupted country.

  12. Muslimin says:

This is not Islam that i know, my Islam is greater than this…Maybe they forget live in this great country such as Indonesia that will not tolerate those kind of action. Trully, more we understand our Islam more wise we are and more peacefull way of life that we can create among us. Just remember God except this…..

  13. Rais says:

It surely a barbaric act, not meaning islam at all. These bunch of low-class and uneducated younger [ima lo-class bt educated enough] been doctrinize by a bunch of arab who wanna try to carry indonesia become the next Afghanistan.

  14. dragonwall says:

No. At least Afghanistan is not being led by the escaped lunatic Ahmadinejad. Those clerics were trying to re-enact another Khomeni of Iran and then tranform this country into all black and white, indoctrinate the people, dictate them and pass the baton down from generation to generation.

    THIS IS DEMOCRACY MAN.

If Indonesia is truly a democratic country, then any person caught with evidence or public announcement that resembles a threat to a person’s life, the country’s security, the safety of the nation then it is about time they round up these people a prosecute them to the fullest of the law.

And please tell those idiot at the Gedung Bunder that no such things as “bayar uang pengadilan 1,000 rupiah” “denda 5000 rupiah” kind of stuffs and stuff their pocket with billions.

No wonder everyone wants to be in office.

The Percetakan Uang Negara should brand them as Pencetak Uang Negara.

When will these the Government act of such a publicly circulated murder contract.
