Actress Dian Sastro entered the blogging world, it seems on January 23rd, 2008, and has come a long way in a short time, with as of the last update of the Top Blogs list on indonesiamatters (Feb 12th):

• 1,028 incoming links.
• 21 RSS subscribers at Bloglines (and 46
  subscribers on Google Reader)
• 7 bookmarks at Del.icio.us
• 43,057 – Technorati blog rank
• 1,068,690 – traffic rank.

In fact her blog is so popular now she’s gone over her bandwidth limit and her site is was down:

She debuted on the Top Blogs list at 88th, at that rate she’ll be approaching the top 10 in no time, assuming she coughs up the money to upgrade her hosting account.

Maia Estianty, pop singer and estranged wife of liberal Muslim rocker guy Ahmad Dhani, also now has an “official” blog, at Detik.com, the mega giant net portal.

Her first post, on February 2nd, has so far drawn a whopping 270+ comments, however with only, so far, one RSS subscriber on Bloglines (and 2 on Google Reader) and no Del.icio.us bookmarks, there doesn’t seem much point in having her in the top blogs list yet, as she would rank near the bottom.

What both of these blogs have in common is the rather unglamorous photos of themselves the authors put up, like the one of Dian above, and this one of Maia, “ngeblogging”:
