Police crack down on the playing of online Bola Tangkas.

Three users of the tangkas.net website and two of its operators were arrested in Bekasi last week at an internet cafe and charged with gambling offences.

Those who play the bola tangkas gambling game at tangkas.net must register first by providing their B.C.A account details and transfering a minimum of 200,000 rupiah to tangkas net. Later players are given a password and instructed to download and install the game software. Any money won is then transferred to the user’s bank account.

A Bekasi police spokesman says the bolatangkas game in question is similar to a “pokie” slot machine type version called “Mickey Mouse”. detik
