Central Java

Central Java as the hotbed of Islamic radicalism and terror groups.

In speaking of the recent arrests of a number of Islamic militants in or near Yogyakarta, central Java, men who are believed connected with militant leader Abu Dujana, the head of the Badan Intelijen Nasional (BIN), Hendropriyono, said that the province of Central Java, including the special area of Yogyakarta, is the centre of terrorist organisations in the country.

Hendropriyono said that since the 1970’s the nation’s intelligence agency had maintained a hotspot map of terrorist activity in the country, focusing on those groups who had links with foreigners, and that Central Java was clearly at the centre of it.

In response to this Abu Bakar Ba’asyir’s lawyer from the Muslim Defence Team, Tim Pembela Muslim (TPM), Mahendradatta, warned against the stigmatising of certain groups of people or certain areas in the country. He complained that Hendropriyono’s assumptions were wrong-headed, that often what was called “terrorism” was just ordinary crime.

Mahendradatta, and client.

As an example he mentioned the recent case of Mujadid alias Brekele, who was arrested on the 20th. Mujadid was guilty of storing weaponry and ammunition, said Mahendradatta, or Mahendrata Data, but this was not terrorism but simply a violation of firearm ownership laws, as set out in emergency law RI No.12/Drt of 1951.

He also said it was illogical that BIN had maintained a terror hotspot map since the 1970’s because at that time there was no specific law against terrorism. Mahendradata feared that a propaganda war was building against Muslims for the benefit of unnamed groups. mediaindo

I’m not surprised to hear what Mahendradatta said, he’s a defense lawyer, he is paid to do that. He’d even sell his own mother if he had to.

  2. Achmad Sudarsono says:

Bung Andrew, I think it’s a shame that as an Indonesian you’re being cynical about Bung Mahendradatta; we are supposed to be cooperative and have respect for other people.

Although I don’t know why they put the old man in the picture — is it his driver. I think the foto should focus on Bung Mahendradatta and not his driver or gardener.

Does anyone know if this terrorisms was what created the Yogyakarta earthquake ?

    Thank, Friend.

Does anyone know if this terrorisms was what created the Yogyakarta earthquake ?

No, I think it was the work of CIA and/or Mossad.

  4. Ihaknt says:

Oh my god ABB is so ugly. He’s rabbit teeth. Why does the caption say ‘client’? we all know who he is. An ugly old twat.

  5. Dimp says:

    Hi ihaknt,

I think there have been the caption has been mispelled, it should be another word starting with ‘c’ and also ending with the letters ‘nt’.

  6. I agree with Mahendra. I think it’s too much if we say that central Java is the center of terrorism in this country. It’s just too much.

  7. Dimp says:

It’s too much of a coincidence.

  8. Rambutan says:

WHy is Hendropriyono still giving such statements? He left the post of Head of BIN two years ago? Weird. Maybe its post-power-syndrome?

With regard to ABB I loved his latest statement when he said that the people arrested in Yogya and surroundings are not terrorists (the only real terrorist is the US, etc bla bla bla) but rather ’emotional mujahidin’ that went a bit over board. ABB is just priceless.

  9. Achmad Sudarsono says:

Rambutan, Dimp, and Ihkant, Is better if you spend your time studying the Pancasila than criticising government officials. I’m sorry friend, is like that. Also, linking Mahendradatta’s driver to terrorisms is too much of a conspiracy theory.

  10. Ihaknt says:

Heh Ono, I dont ABB is a government official! He is a just a representative of an evil spirit and energy and worldly ugliness. And you better spend your time tying a rope and put it around your neck. And PULL tight!

  11. Achmad Sudarsono says:

Calling people c–nts, telling them to hang themselves (I am already well-hung, believe me), what has got your kolor in a conundrum today, Ihaknt ? This is just further proof you need the Pancasila.

  12. Ihaknt says:

What’s wrong with saying client? I think you were refering to dimp. I give you credit for your smart remark, it managed to make me smile. Pancasila and common sense died ages ago dude. You missed its funeral.
