Pamekasan Polygamy

At the monthly meeting between senior clerics in Pamekasan and the mayor of the town, Ahmad Syafi’l, the Muslim leaders asked that male public servants, who are currently not allowed to have more than one wife, be allowed to practise their rights according to Islam.
One cleric, Mas’ud, explained that despite the ban on multiple wives for state employees many PNS in Pamekasan took a second wife through pseudo marriages (kawin sirih) or carried on adulterous affairs.
He said that although informal marriages were permissible within Islam they put the man at risk of falling afoul of the national law, and had negative consequences for the woman concerned and any resultant children. mediaindo

Al Quran puts conditions on polygamy which make it impossible! Please do not encourage the excuses of these idiots by making statements like that above.
These sick perverts give themselves permission to hide their adultery behind religion from Sunnah and Hadith, not from Al Quran.

Agree with ya Khafi, I am just dramatizing. I believe there are still many perverts out there and they are keep trying to lure more and more people to join the poligame zone.

They should quote from Al Quran not only polygamy but how to become a good Moslem (do not corrupt) and to provide good public service to their community or may be they want to be Pamekasan as a district with the most Polygamy cases in the World (Polygamy Award).

This is classic, he even admits that even though PNS are not allowed to have multiple wives, they have been breaching this law anyway, again it shows the mentality of some of these people, instead of looking for a solution, they tried to change the law. It won’t be long until they want PNS to be able to accept bribes, hey they are already doing it anyway, why not allow them.
