The paragraph that made me cringe:

Melihat peristiwa langka itu, sejumlah warga yang ada di sekitar lokasi kejadian, langsung mengerumuni sapi nahas tersebut. Namun, sebelum hewan ternak yang dulu kerap membantu manusia untuk membajak sawah, ladang dan perkebunan, serta menjadi makanan paling mewah pada setiap hari meugang itu meregang nyawa, warga masih sempat menyembelihnya. Konon, dagingnya akan dibagi-bagikan kepada para anak yatim setempat.

For those who don't understand indonesian, here's the story: a head of a regency in aceh got pissed off by cows that blocks the road (sit and shit there). Ok fine, I might get pissed off to, but I'll just say "crap". But this dude, got so very bloody pissed, and probably because of insecurity-complex — "hey I've already told people not to let their cows blocking the road…, why don't they obey me?!!! grrr!!! I'll teach them some lesson, this will make them respect me, at last." — decided to shoot a (baby) cow, in its thigh.

As if that's not brutal enough, then came the people of aceh (acehites, acehenes, acehers, whatever), came to the location…, and…, uhm, instead of rescuing the (baby) cow, they slaughtered it. Wow. I don't know, scenes from some natgeo's human evolution series crossed my mind when I read that paragraph.

And of course, because they are so compasionate they will donate the meat to the orphans. Awww…, that's so nice.

Moral my ass.
