It took me two listens, but I do like it now. It's vaguely remiscent of various wierd European art-punk bands that you stumble across from time to time – which is very strange, given that they are Americans singing in Indonesian…
But the sheer mentalness of it, and the way it kind of builds up a head of steam is fun…
There's absolutely no connection whatsover, and I don't know why they popped into my head (apart from perhaps because of my mention of European punk bands), but several years since I last listened to them I was suddenly reminded of this:
