If in Europe, history of political parties from–Liberals to Greens–have been the history of political protests, it seems natural if new parties continue to emerge in Indonesia: so many things need to be protested! A higher electoral threshold hopefully will help this symptom. But this is just a symptom. The actual desease is political short-sightness: those who hold power in parties tend to be authoritarian, those who do not tend to be impatient with institutional games. This ‘primitive’ political behaviors are understandable to some extent, since most of Indonesian politicians are autodidacts, perhaps they have not fully understood how to use parties’ organizational systems to negotiate interests and resolve conflicts; yet one thing is worrying: they seem have no concerns whatsoever to the voters!

“Diverse in unity” is one thing should be held to, whether step in different way but always try to keep the same aim. Build Islamic welfare, strengthen Islamic capability and maintain Islamic spirit to give a beautiful color to Indonesia.

We need more nationalism.. than just make so many dicotomies. we have to build the trust and believe amongs people in indonesia.. so great to participate the Election.. but pls be always aware and hears what the people scream… welfare is just far enough to gain… but make people strong… will cover the problem… at least to be positive
