   PPT – if you care to search this site I think you’ll find that I have a pretty staunch record of taking furious issue with many of “the ppl here who attack Muslims and Islam”…
   However, I simply cannot stand poor grammar, and I think you are grossly insulting the divine, received word of God if you imply that He would make such a mess of a second conditional. Outrageous! Tantamount to blasphemy!

   PPT is translating this I think:

   QS. AL BAQARAH:120

   Orang-orang Yahudi dan Nasrani tidak akan senang kepada kamu sehingga kamu mengikuti agama mereka. Katakanlah:”Sesungguhnya petunjuk Allah itulah petunjuk (yang sebenarnya)”. Dan sesungguhnya jika kamu mengikuti kemauan mereka setelah pengetahan datang kepadamu, maka Allah tidak lagi menjadi pelindung dan penolong bagimu.

   I found a sort of ‘King James’ English version of it:

   2:120 Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their form of religion. Say: “The Guidance of God -that is the (only) Guidance.” Wert thou to follow their desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee then wouldst thou find neither Protector nor helper against God.

   Now if M. Khafi were here he’d start quoting that other verse, the one that says Jews and Christians have nothing to fear from God, and then it would all get confusing…
