    Piagam Jakarta is basic in laws in Indonesia. Piagam Jakarta have to aplicating to moeslim people in Indonesia.
    Piagam Jakarta :
    Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa Dengan Kewajiban Menjalankan Syariat Islam Bagi Pemeluknya.
    It is strugle from founding father of Indonesia country.
    In Provinsi of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam was aplicated Syariat Islam.

    What do you think would happen if they took a national referendum? Would there be majority for or against shari’ah?

    Although I’m against shari’ah, I can see the logic behind wanting it for the majority-Muslim west, but for the whole country including the largely-Christian east and Irian Jaya?
    Plus the majority might be Muslim, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t millions of Christians and Hindus.
