   I’m going to to jakarta on 24th and 25th of August 2010, there are 6 of us. I’m looking for a budget hotels (2 star or 3 star), comfortable & near town (shopping area).

   Pls help to advise the below:
   1)Can you pls help to advise how to go to this hotel? What kind of taxi should take? How much the taxi fare and how far the distance?
   2)Any public transport direct to this hotel? How much the fare? How’s the distance?
   What is the transport name example Bus No?

   I am first time to Jakarta for holiday. Any special tip to visit around?

   You can’t really rely on Jakarta’s public transport. They are overcrowded and unsafe. It’s best for you to take Silver Bird taxi. Cost a little more but comfortable n safe.

   Hello, i am intan. i live in jakarta

   if you want to reach mercure rekso from airport, many expat like these taxi :
   1. Blue bird ( the cheapest one, based on argo, car:suzuki baleno )
   2. Silver bird ( more expensive than blue bir, car : mercedez )
   3. Golden bird ( by order, they will pick you at the airport, car : innova, camry. they directly knows the location, since it is by order )

   for public transportation, but not taxi, find “Busway Transjakarta”..

   Hi, i will arrive in Jakarta 20th October at 9 AM and then i have another flight at 6 PM. Any suggestion about hotel or something like that to spend those 8 hours? Thanks

   Hi Vin,

   Two hotels near Soekharno-Hatta airport that aren’t so expensive are:

   - Aston Cengkareng (3-star)

   - FM7 Hotel Resort (4-star)

   Both hotels also offer free airport transfers both to/from the airport, if you arrange it before.

   Need some assistance on getting a moderate room for 4 nights in Jakarta. (12 – 16 Nov 2010). I need 2 rooms as we are traveling in a family of 7 persons.

   I’ve stayed there for 5 days and am very satisfied. Recommended.

    Greetings, i will arrive in Jakarta with my family on 13th January 2011. Its going to be 4 adults and 2 childrens. Duration of staying will be 7 nights. If possible i need all of us to stay in some kind of apartments??, attach room or next to each other. I also need pick-up from the airport. Looking for 3-5 stars accomodation with the best offer. Regards.

    sir we are group of 6 people coming to jakarta on the 5th nov 2011. we would like 6 rooms standard including breakfast. we are from malaysia. we want the hotel somewhere there are lots of bars and the place must be really happening. we are leaving on the 8th. there must be no problem if we bring visitors to the room.also we need a van with a driver who can guide us to these happening places. kindly quote us the rate . we want 3 star hotel.

    Hi , I plan to visit Jakarta on Jan 2012 and would like to visit Elite Club Epicentrum
    Komplex Rasuna Epicentrum, Jl. H.R. Rasuna Said Jakarta, Selatan and also do some shopping. Please advise the budget hotel or apartment for 3days night stay.
    Please advice list of hotel which is recommended both shopping and near beach area.

    if possible i want to find a budget hotel for our trip in October’2012
    me and my friends would like to find a hotel near the airport. if possible, we also want to find a budget hotel at Bandung because we are planning to go there as well.

    Hi Myra Amira,

    There is a range of hotels at/near Jakarta Airport. The cheapest is Huswah Transit Hotel.

    A budget hotel in Bandung is Orange Homes Hotel.
