This article says it all. The more positive outlook on life of iPhone and android users results in a higher F-factor.
Bonni, get rid of your libido-killer and try another fishing rod.

Ah, Franky is probably confused by now. Franky, FF is F*ckability Factor, a term created by Balipoet a few pages back. Not quite a nice term, but useful nonetheless.

Bonni, that’s an interesting survey. If only they added some more assertive questions in the survey to answer ET’s curiousity…

    - according to the link BlackBerry users are pessimists,
    - therefore BlackBerries seem to be BallBusters,
    - you said you own a BlackBerry,

    So what’s your decision?

@ Bonni – Please be careful of ET as he doesn’t own a fishing rod and has only a net. LOL!!!

    ET,

I stick to my blackberry… Because I’m very optimistic that my fishing rod is fine :P

    Lomboksurfer,

It’s ok, since ET looks very aware of my fishing rod, I’m very aware of his net LOL

    lomboksurfer

I’d rather be a fish myself. Fish have more fun.

@ET – Ya but bloody fish smell so terribly when they are out of their bloody element too long. Don’t you agree? :)

Wel that explains why a recent lady failed me. She was a blackberry user.

Reminds me of the time a lady friend of mine wanted to introduce me to one of her girlfriends as a potential jodoh (lol). Rather than tell her friend how good my personality traits are :P , first thing she excitedly described about her to me was that I had an iPhone!

…even if my iPhone was a old and slow 3G one on it’s last legs!

bonni, you don’t even need a fishing rod. Go stand waistdeep in the sea or in a river and the fish will come swimming toward you. Fish are curious creatures, they like a bit of ‘mystery’.
    Just try it.

  12. avatar bonni says:
    January 20th, 2012 at 3:51 pm

    ET,

It seems like you are that unstable… First you were worried about my fishing rod… Now you tell me that I don’t even need one… Now I’m worried… My suggestion is, as a fish, stop eating too much sea salt, chill and relax for the weekend…

Well, how can I be a mystery… If one of fishes came straight to my desk, ‘stopped’ me from drinking my beers and kept rubbing my face while telling me such seductive words? Tell me how, ET? I’d rather jump into the sea…

    bonni,

Sorry I got you all confused. I just was trying to help with the fishing.
But anyway, Indonesian girls probably prefer gold fish. You can find them at the mall, ready to be put in your aquarium.

Just make sure that the fish is not exposed to high levels of radiation. Genetic mutation can turn this gold fish into piranha.

Not sure what this has got to do with the price of fish, but I though all y’all might find it interesting:

    Franky,

Yes, it is amazing how our talk here had inspired this man to cross-breed goldfish and piranha :) (not quite a genetic engineering process, apparently, but close still)

Just when you thought it was safe to stock the aquarium . . . here comes a terrifying new breed of mutant creature — half goldfish, half piranha!

“It’s a swimming pit bull,” warns Dr. Raimundo Tubarao, chief marine biologist for the Brazilian Department of Marine Studies. “It looks like a domestic goldfish, except it’s three times as large and it has all the savage instincts and razor-sharp teeth of a piranha. It makes the Siamese fighting fish look like a garden slug.”

    The Link

No information whether the goldfish previously used to be displayed at the mall, though.

    @Deta

    Wow what a story.
Not sure abt my contribution to it. But I had similar thoughts. hehheheheh
Actually in portuguese ‘ Tubarao’ means ‘shark’. Typical family name for Marine Biologist from Brasil. But probably ‘coincidence’.

But everybody drifting away from the topic of this thread hey?
    What was it again

    Hi All,

my brother told me about the funny conversation in some websites regarding expats date indonesian girls and the problems.

when i finally saw this website, I read old postings about the problem about “indonesian girls being materialistic” and “bule guys only want sex”…

I have a bule bf for almost 2 years, my first bule bf, but the way i date him is as the same as i date indonesian guys. I never get any money at all from him, vice versa. he bought me gift, i bought him gift. take and give. i pay my expenses if we are going on a trip. when we go out for dinner or lunch, he often treat me, but sometimes I treat him as well.

what i am saying is.. regardless whats your nationality, pls see the main reason why you date a guy/girl. because you like/love them for sure. remember: happiness and prosperity always go inside-out not the other way around. money and sex are not the most important thing in life.

I am kinda sad when reading those things, and also when my friends of friends tell their sad story about the playboy bule things or about their thinking pattern that those bules have to be responsible financially for them. helloooo! don’t you want to keep some dignity girls? Its really good to feel as equal as our bf. If you want money, WORK! Use your brain to work. You’re not paralyzed. Even ppl who don’t have feet can work. Don’t underestimate yourself by not being self-sufficient. And guys, be a responsible person who think others’ feeling before doing something.

Just be happy and love, people!

    Cantik,

I agree with you but it’s a fact that there are some playboy bule and some gold diggers girly girls… Truth hurts but well… Let’s consider it as the law of attraction, with all respect to those who might be the ‘innocent’ victims…

    @Cantik
agree that majority of people are sincere…everywhere.
And I as a Bule think that Indonesian Girls are quite exceptinally beautyful.
Not only outside but als inside. Verry pleasant.
in Europe where I am from, there are also many nice girls and I have many good friends here.
in the America’s the same, north America excluded. But Asia wins with Indonesia in nr 1.

i am happy to know many friends there and love my gf there as well….
And thinking even to life there….only problem is my job is in Asia.
So I have to travel a lot in Asia, actually already do this now bt still live in Europe.
For that JKT would be the best city to life having int. Airport..
But being from small village I think living in JKT will be hard for me…
Lots of trafic, no nature, no water, polutionnnn….

Thinking of maybe change job and start some business in Central Java or Lombok….
Then I can also be close to my love. On the other hand maybe get bored if staying in one place….

Now back to the thread’s topic?

Hi Janma, still alive and kicking I see.

Money and sex ARE the most important things in life….

but apparently not to the same degree.

For those who are willing to pay for it sex is more important,
For those who are willing to be paid for it money is more important.

i just recently started work in the hospitality industry here in JKT and in the outlet I work in I have never witnessed the sheer amount of bule / local cewek combination. LAst night a typical saturday there were 14 couples. im not bothered by it as in the end they pay my fat salary. So it’s a good business as the outlet is aiming on the foreigners and of course they won’t come alone other when they meet their friends at the bar. Also im sure its the man who brings the woman rather the women brings him.

I am in Asia right now and most likely in JKT by the end of this week. This is actually the first time since Christmass when I start reading this thread.
Curious to know how I now look at this topic after reading this thread for a while and bearing all the comments and opinions in mind….hehehehe

Maybe my opinion changed maybe not and just enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and not too forget the wheater. Cozz I hate cold winter wheather and subzero conditions…..
