Death counseling…, ending with
Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.
Maybe this last one was an attempt to curb the flow of illegal immigration, or even Green Card applications.
However the following may shed some light on the reason why Obamacare finally made it through Congress. It is specifically stated that this bill will not apply to members of Congress. Members of Congress are already exempt from the Social Security system and have a well-funded private plan that covers their retirement needs.

This of course is incorrect, the act specifically states
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act: ACCESS LIMITED TO LAWFUL RESIDENTS.—If an individual is not, or is not reasonably expected to be for the entire period for which enrollment is sought, a citizen or national of the United States or an alien lawfully present in the United States, the individual shall not be treated as a qualified individual and may not be covered under a qualified health plan in the individual market that is offered through an Exchange.
Emergency Care may be provided but that has always been the case and has been law in the US for many years.
Page 272. section 1145: Cancer hospital will ration care according to the patient’s age.
Again not true..at best you get this..
This page merely calls for a study of whether a certain class of hospitals incur higher costs than some others for the cancer care they deliver. It also says the secretary of HHS “shall provide for an appropriate adjustment” in payments “to reflect those higher costs.” It’s hardly “rationing” to pay hospitals more to compensate for higher costs.

No it doesn’t, it does contain a provision for payment of consultations as an additional service but limits the payment to one every five years..
