What I found most interesting about Obama’s mother is that she seems like a right airhead, flitting around the world picking up one “culture” then dropping and running off to pick up the next one, as if her life was one never ending ethnic smorgasbord.
It is particularly noticeable that one of the reasons Ann and Lolo broke up was because he, a western educated, intelligent, up and coming modern Indonesian man became more western in his lifestyle and outlook while his wife wanted to live a fantasy life as a Javanese kampung woman.
Thank goodness Barack had his sensible grandmother to teach him a bit of sense, it is only a pity that the woman would not live long enough to see her beloved protege be elected president.

No technically, our Constitution has certain rules and requirements for eligibility to become the President. One must be a natural born citizen of the US. There are some who say the Hawaiin birth certificate posted on Obama’s website is a forgery and have requested that he produce the vault cert. There is a law suit before the supreme court requesting the certificate be produced. There is also the idea that he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro which would have revoked his american citizenship. I don’t know I’m not a lawyer and don’t understand all the legalities. I’m just saying that natural born citizenship is a legal requirement for presidency; one can not be a naturalized citizen, you must be natural born citizen. -

That’s right. The US Constitution applies to the federal (national) government only. Each state also has its own constitution, which specifies the requirements for governor of that state. The federal constitution says (in Article II, Section I):
No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.
Schwarzenegger was born in Austria, and so can never become president of the US. People who like him joke about passing an “Arnold Amendment” to the US Constitution that would get around the restriction. It’s not something that would ever happen, but it’s an amusing idea.

The father and mother had their differences and separated amicably- Ann Dunham moving to Indonesia.I am sure the legitimacy of his US birth to be President would have been one of the first questions the Democrat Caucus would have investigated thoroughly- imagine the embarrassment if they screwed that one up.

He was taken to the US, Hawai, where he was registered and a COLB, Cert. Of Live Birth, was filed. This in NO way states he was BORN at the hospital, only the VAULTED cert. would show this, which has never been found! He was then taken to Indonesia and adopted by his stepfather. His Indonesian citizenship would void eny others, as they have NO dual citizenships!
Bottom line…..OBAMA needs to go! One way or the other. He is a typical democrat, telling you what you want to hear, then doing what he wants to do! I SWEAR he said this is going to be a NEW house, with NEW people with OPEN views. BUT then goes and apoints Israeli, Rahm Emanuel, as chief of staff… What? Thought he said NEW! Very simple to come up with a certified copy of his birth certificate and put this all to rest. Else this will trigger a constitutional issue and a good chance he will be put in jail for fraud. This would be a sad day but the Constitution is till the law of the land and we must enforce it or lose it.

He must produce the COLB before he enters the white house, this could start a civil warI am shocked that states do not have a requirement to show all birth records to hold office in that state and for the president to get the electoral votes from each state.

If Obama Sr. became a naturalized citizen of the United States then this wouldn’t be an issue.
People are failing to recognize the difference between a US citizen and a Natural Born citizen. There is a difference. If there weren’t a difference then the Framers of our Constitution never would have used the words. The document is not meant to be repetitive/redundant. All of the words have INTENT.
The 14th Amendment has no bearing on Article II.

Do you know the difference between being a Governor of a state and being President of the United States? The natural born citizenship clause of the Constitution doesn’t apply to the state of California.
Here’s what the natural born citizenship clause of the Constitution says: BOTH parents must be U.S. citizens and the birth MUST be on U.S. soil. Obama’s father is Kenyan (or British since Kenya was under British rule in 1961) so that’s STRIKE ONE. Obama’s own grandmother admitted to watching Obama being born in Kenya. STRIKE TWO! Obama’s mother moved to Indonesia, and Indonesia forbids dual-citizenship laws. STRIKE THREE!
Obama is NOT qualified to be the President even if he does magically produces an authentic birth certificate. When he moved to Indonesia, that automatically voided his U.S. citizenship. Time for the Supreme Court to do their jobs, and remove the Obamamessiah from reaching the White House.
