Indonesian labour unions are flexing their muscles over a proposed change to labour laws with a general strike looming.

Up in arms over a government proposal to amend the national labor law, Indonesia’s powerful unions have threatened to stage a nationwide general strike next Monday that could cast another dark cloud over the country’s already dimming investment environment.
