    @ally

Well… well… try to read the comments but still don’t get the idea why people don’t agree with this marriage of the syeik with a girl of 12 yo.

Because you will not agree if later when you have a 12 years old daughter married by 50 years old man with many wife , will you?

Pedophile? why is it wrong to have sex between a 50 yo and a 12 yo?

The same answer as above, try to think logically.

    Achmad,

Everyone is entitled to change his/her opinion.

However that fictional Javanese alter ego of yours is partly responsible for the anti-bule, anti-Oz atmosphere here. Personally I couldn’t care less.

Considering this and your criticism of PN and AAB for screwing up threads I cannot see this change of heart apart from your blunder in the Suzanna thread. I don’t buy your explanation:

What started as a funny, silly game just turned boring, the same way a Siberian labour camp is boring.

I don’t care about your nicknames or real names but admit you’re a bule hiding behind a Javanese character.

why should I not agree with the marriage as you describe?

what is thinking logically? Think with reasons? or anything else? sorry just dont know for sure….

    Hi

@AAB – I think we will struggle to find a commonality in our argument, as I posted earlier I was brought up a Muslim and clearly stated I do not have to agree with a practise that is ethically and morally wrong especially in today’s day and age…..

You are using an argument that is outdated as society has moved on so let me ask you a personal question…does this mean you will find any girl of any age attractive ………or have you found yourself attracted to a girl thats is between the ages of 9 – 16yrs

@ Alf – I thought I made myself clear but if not – I dont agree with the teachings of the religion I was born into …I am agnostic……

    Hey ET,

This says that something is seiously wrong with Indonesia’s political culture. What kind of dumb logic is that, executing murderers justifies Arabising Indonesian culture (or vice versa)?

I should add that I’m against the death penalty, even for mindless brainwashed idiots.

    Old Sobat,

Whatever you wish. As the Dalai Lama said, “I will be your screensaver.”

Sobat, hmm. Responsbility. Are we our brother’s keeper ? Did I hold a gun to their heads and force them to type ? Was I funnier ?

All of these questions circulate as I strum my ukulele, think of my maternal grandfather Sutomo, AKA Tom, and your time and effort in quoting a Suzanna threat (LOL…!).

Laired, my friend, you say you don’t care less, but, you’re the top poster on IM.

    Yours in Ukulelehood,

Very nice point. Haven’t heard about the hookers, but have heard about other jollies. Are you serious about the prostitutes ? I think it might be time to let the media dogs off the leash and go for it.

I don’t know about Indonesian Governement Officials but I can personally verify that the contract my company had with a section of Singaporean Government had a special “entertainment” allowance and there was no shortage of Muslims taking advantage of the wine, women and song. Was all above board and declared as far as we were concerned although it would have caused some red faces in Singapore. We did however have to send some minders along with them not to protect them but to protect the working girls as these insular idiots have all the social graces of feral pigs.

Closer to home, do let me know if you need to know the name of the hotel for the afternoon quickies by our local trough feeders as it is common knowledge.

First AAB says-Andy, Moslem believe in Allah subhana wata’ala. He who created the universe, all creatures and humanoids like you. For a moslem, there is no such thing as ‘your’ or ‘my’ country. It is petty humans that created boundaries.

But in the same post he says-The balance was already upset the moment you people (of the Anglo-Celtic variety) washed ashore terra incognita some 200 years ago.

(you people??)AAB is the biggest dickhead to ever post on this site. Time for him to admit he is a tool and a racist and belongs in the gutter. Mate, if you hate my country and people so much never come back ok. But you will because you always come crawling back to us with your hand out. What a loser!!

    Pak Oigal,

Internet’s a great place to get that out. I think your sense of honour might stop you from doing it anonymously, but given your business and family responsibilities, I think it’d be the best way. Asymmetric warfare, Basil Liddel Hart and all that.

As I said, if they’re going to drum out fascist laws, they should be held to their own standards. They started the sh*tfight…

@ Laired, all good points, but any admission ain’t never gonna happen. You know that, sobat. :-) x o.

    @ Andy

But in the same post he says-The balance was already upset the moment you people (of the Anglo-Celtic variety) washed ashore terra incognita some 200 years ago.

You need simple explanation. Here it is: Allah created human like me and primate like you. Human share the earth peacefully. Primate kills and take advantage if given a chance.

(you people??)AAB is the biggest dickhead to ever post on this site. Time for him to admit he is a tool and a racist and belongs in the gutter. Mate, if you hate my country and people so much never come back ok. But you will because you always come crawling back to us with your hand out. What a loser!!

Chill out, mate. I have big plan for you. I have said you are the lesser evil of the 3 stooges, and I believe you can be rehabitated and groomed to carry Indonesian flag for our next olympic. Being jilted ain’t no good reason to hate us. Sometime Aussie pride gets the better of you, and because of this you lose her.

I wil be flying back to Ostraya sooner than expected. Time to invest in properties when the Oz dollar hits rock bottom. This time to Darwin to check out on an orchard in Berry Springs. Next time you bite into a NT mango, it could possibly be from my orchard.

Let’s focus on this topic. Do you think it is right to deflower a little girl, then dump her?

    Purba Negoro:

You conveniently forget 32 years of total success as opposed to 10 years of disaster, terrorism, and poverty.

Perhaps MY nations’ starving and jobless will wait patiently for your greying Merlot Marxist Miracle and armchair leftist middle-page spread of democracy?
Perhaps you and the West wil fully fund, no strings attached the eductaion, and subsidisation of my nations’ people so they may all- 220 million of them- become enlightend Jeffersonian citizens?

OR perhaps you assume- as most bleating whites do- the colour of your skin and your depraved society is somehow make your the Grand Moral Arbiters- in the face of global highest teen pregnancy rates, suicide rates, violent crimes against elderly, violent gun crimes, homicides?

Proof again the Anglosphere is utterly ignorant, specious and verbosely inane.
Go back to your private time with Amnesty International and your famous white habit of moral onanism.

We Indonesians will never listen to the nonsensical mincing hysterics of the West- particularly our self-made number one enemy- Australia.

Ya Allah ini buat aku tertawa… It’s not hard to see how Indo can be so politically unstable with hotheads like you running around.

Firstly, you can leave all your childish racial hate-mongering somewhere else. It makes us all sick. You’re not talking to a white person, and even if you were, what you said was largely.. nonsense. That post sounded like it came from an FPI thug with a bachelor’s degree. Your quickness to blanket-categorize people shows a lack of understanding… Disturbingly similar to the thought patterns of people like Sayyid Qutb, actually. I’m sorry we can’t disagree without you falsely coloring me with your occidentalist fantasies. If all politicians acted so foolishly, a dictator would surely be the only answer. So perhaps your behavior has a bizarre logic after all :)

    * Why does the internet bring this out in people? *

So, as to your insinuation that a Pak Harto-style government would be good for Indonesia.. You claim that I’m blissfully ignorant of the “32 years of total success” before the last 10. Quite to the contrary. The last ten years, in fact, were the verdict on the previous 32. The financial crisis happened because of Pak Harto’s corrupt economic agenda – not in spite of it. A similar, less intense process is happening now in the US. Or perhaps you blame the West for your financial crisis, as well.

I’m not looking down on anyone, least of all Indonesians. Sorry if you’ve encountered people who do this, but you shouldn’t assume the worst unless you want it to manifest. Peace and good luck.

Anyway, back to the topic of the post..

This guy is sad, but the saddest thing of all is that there are so many people who won’t criticize him for what he is. If the tradition of ijtihad is discontinued, we get stuck with these backwards elements in Islam – many of which were actually progressive in their own time. Such is life.

Don’t like mangoes actually. Again, if you don’t love us leave us ok. I voted with my feet in regards to your country and left for good never to return except maybe for a holiday. You are proving to be nothing but a truly racist hypocrite. Maybe I should go back to Indonesia and buy an orchard over there. OOOHH silly me I almost forgot. I’m not allowed because your precious government can’t accept foreigners owning land in their own name. Seems my country to allow you to have this orchard has proven itself to be non racist as compared to yours. Right? Oh and you haven’t answered my question. Are you a racist? Again for your dumb brain, just say yes or no. Can’t be too hard can it?

And bck on the topic, anyone with any morals and decency can see that muslim animal (and I apologise to all the animals out there) should not have deflowered an underage girl in the first place. But you can’t see that becuase you are sub human and lacking any decency yourself. We are all wasting our time on assholes like you.

A little more clarification on the link between the porn bill and the executions of the murderous trio know as the Bali Bombers.

There is growing concern among educated Balinese that the 2 cases have become interconnected. Look at the timing of the procedures. Too close and too long stretched out for not raising suspicions.

    Peter

Leave PN alone. He is the living proof of what you get when well-to-do Muslims send their children to the Jesuits in the hope they get a better education. Brilliant intellects with a perverted self-image because they develop split personalities, verbosely overcompensating their inferior self- and group image with ultra-nationalistic tribal crap.

All I’d like to say is good luck, fine and dandy…. do it no problem! Sell your daughters to ‘good (rich) muslims’ but at least follow the laws of this country and do it when they are of age, not before.

Well we certainly have a lot of name calling here…

Because it has been asked to others, I will answer, I’m not muslim nor am I christian, jew, hindu or other, my religion is between me and god, I’m the one who in the end will answer to him.

I was born in Australia, but have lived in many years in Indonesia, North America, UK and Malaysia.

    My thoughts are:

50yo marrys a 12yo, sick and twisted in any culture or religion, no excuse, lets protect the innocent.

Pornography and prostituion, seen both in every country I have lived or worked, regardless of culture or religion.

Racisim, well bule is a racist term of sorts. Hey the most powerful western nation in the world has just elected Obama, now the most powerful man on earth!!!!!!! Now where is the racism in that? I hope Obama has fond memories of his time in Indonesia, it can only help both nations.

Indonesia or Australia, they both have their problems but I do have an Indonesian staying at my house and an Indonesian living in my street who are both trying to get PR here as they love living in this country. Yes, it is easier for an Indonesian to live, work or study here than for me to do the same there. Did i mention that of these two Indonesians, one is christian and one is muslim and both can have 100% ownership of business and house/land here.

One the Australian drought, environment and global warming. Droughts come and go and we have never run out of water, global warming; of all the countries on earth, Australia contributes >2% of carbons and we are reducing them!!!! Can anyone tell me the percentage of carbons from Indonesia, you do have Sumatran fires, Jakarta pollution???

Obesity, we might be fat but we are fit and are the 4th longest lived people on earth!! I think Indonesia is number 40.

Other environmental issues, well we had the Tasmanian tiger, Indonesia had the Balinese and Javanese tiger, lets learn from our past mistakes and all help to save the Sumatran one!!!

Bali bombers, well the crime was in Indonesia and the punishment is in Indonesia, I expect the executioners and indeed the Indonesian attorney general who ordered the punisment to proceed are all muslim as well.

Australians with mullet haircuts, well you have never seen a Kuta beach boys in Bali!!!!!

Sukarno, Howard, Bush, Blair and Suharto, all gone now, lets move on and live for the future.

Remember, East Timor was a UN gig, not an Australian one and Australian’s mass murdering Indonesians, Thai’s, Vietnamese and Jews???? Where and when and how many???????

Remember, be kind as we all share the same planet and we do live next door to each other!!!!!!!

  27. avatar Carla says:
    November 6th, 2008 at 6:07 am

@ Patung, the possibilities are endless in terms of what makes her want to stay with him. Pressure from parents or even religion, humiliation from the surrounding (and all over the country, in fact), we shall not forget either that she was raised in a thick-cultured central Javanese village where girls seem to have only one future choice: to marry someone respectable and preferably rich, to me it was obvious that he took her virginity already and what now for her? After the wide news coverage all over the world, will her friends stick to being friends with her? Will her family still support her (mentally at least) if she cancels the marriage? Will she even dare to go out and face people with their cynical remarks and discriminative faces? Answer: unlikely.

And one more, after all this fuss with the media goes away in the next several months, the marriage is canceled, and the people start forgetting what has happened, what does it make her? We could think so many thing she can do in her life, but she might not! And she won’t forget it.

I don’t quite like those thoughts I just said out loud. But in a way, I can understand her.

I am sure nothing more than sex hunting, drugs, and banging on some ugly looking whores.
Indonesians might have a lot of rotten apples but those people don’t have proper education, those who have, don’t curse other nations, religions and race in front of many educated people like you in this forum.

  29. avatar Janma says:

Carla I agree with you…. I can totally understand why she would refuse now to be divorced. I expected as much…. but sadly that is not the point… the law is the law and what he and her parents have done is illegal. The law should be observed no matter what. The little girls future may be ruined, it may not be, but that shouldn’t play a part in the illegality of the act… If nothing is done, this will keep happening with the simple excuse of ‘well she wanted it too…”

Andy is my real name, don’t need to give you my last name cos it is none of your business. I wouldn’t trust you as far as I could throw you. How about you? Prepared to give us yours? Probably not, you use the name of a Filipino patriot rather than an Indonesian coward or war criminal who rapes and tortures Chinese or Timorese. You are way off the mark of what you think anyway so your friend would have nothing except trumped up bullsiht or gossip which as we know Indonesians love anyway.

Interesting theory on education levels. The Indonesians on this forum I could list numerous faults but none appear to be uneducated. Yes AAB take a bow mate. But don’t tell me they don’t slander, bully, call names and use racially explicit language.
