Qualifications don’t matter these days – as long as you dress like an Arab, you’ll win!

While I realise no ones interested in this provincial backwater stuff but.. the official count has got the positions reversed, with Soekarwo-Saifullah Yusuf winning with 7.729.944 votes or 50.20% and Khofifah-Mudjiono (KaJi) with 7.669.721 or 49.80%. It’s probably going to get ugly because the Khofifah-Mudjiono lot are saying ‘no way’, and refused to sign the results form thing.

Still ongoing, Khofifah-Mudjiono took some voting irregularities in Madura to the Supreme Court and won the case, they ordered a recount in Pamekasan, and in Bangkalan and Sampang a re-staging of the election, within 60 days.
