Tariq misses the point entirely. The history of Islam is not the issue. It is what is happening now. It is the hatred and violence at the core of the Quran and its interpretation by Islamic teachers around the world. It is the intolerance shown by millions of Muslims towards each other and any and everybody with whom they do not agree. It is the slaughter of innocent men, women and children, carried out by Muslims in the name of God, in every continent in the world. It is the fact that this medieval, primitive religion is not compatible with a modern, tolerant society. Islam must and will reform. But until it is able to throw away its outdated ideas, like most other religions have done, it will remain a serious threat to society.

The fact that all Muslim countries are characterised by poverty and dreadful human rights is not a punishment from God but results from the intrusive and suffocating nature of Islam. It is widely recognised that all religions are on the retreat as a result of the enlightenment that follows education and scientific discoveries. Until this happens to Islam, it is right that people like Wilders are able to shine a light on the dangers that threaten European societies.

I have just read the hysterical rant of Aluang Anak Bayang.

All the dreadful things shown in the film “Fitna” actually happened. Many were filmed in Muslim countries, by Muslims. Which of these dreadful things does he wish to defend? Which act cannot be criticised because the criticism would be un-Islamic? Which of the thousands of people shown being butchered in the film deserved to die? Which one would God, assuming there is such an entity, have chosen to die in the manner shown?

Would Aluang Anak Bayang show this film to children as an example of how to kill an infidel? Would Aluang Anak Bayang teach very young children that Jews are apes and pigs? Does Aluang Anak Bayang believe this himself?

I think we deserve to know.

Are you an expert on Arabic? Can you read the quran in Arabic? What authority do you have to criticize the book of God?

Jihad main aim is to kill as many enemies as possible can and strike fear in them, but sometimes innocent bystanders are caught in between. No one with a sane mind, much less the Muslim, would want innocent bystanders be killed; but of course they will be rewarded in the afterlife. What do your Christian God promised you?

I am not a student of the Quran although I have travelled to, and lived in, many Muslim countries.

Aluang Anak Bayang, you are mistaken. There is no Christian God, as there is no Muslim God. All religions are based on blind faith in the supernatural. You believe in a God although there is no proof of her existence. You read a book that was written by someone who lived hundreds of years ago, which reflects the customs and beliefs of a primitive society that no longer exists. The God of the Old Testament is a vengeful, sadistic god. Your God shares these attributes, but she is also full of hatred. I cannot convince you of your folly in believing all this nonsense. Maybe it is good for you if it helps you through life but don’t try to foist it onto other people, especially innocent children. If you wish to believe that, after death, you are going to sit amongst the clouds with sixty nine vestal virgins, it is no business of mine.

I would not blame you for being blasphemous as you admitted you are not a student of quran. It is clear in the quran that there is no other God except Allah swt. That is why we are called ‘Muslim’. Christians are followers of mortal being so are Buddhists. You don’t worship Allah’s creation.

Unlike all other so-called ‘holy books’, the quran is handwritten by Allah. How could scientific facts like the speed of light, Big Bang and rocket science be known to 7th century civilisation? I can’t believe that so many people on the web are such wussies!! They all took the movie off their sites because of threats?? Yeah right like jihadists are really going to be able to even find them. You all should have left the movie online not succumbed like cowards to the mentally retarded jihadists!! Freedom of speech is more important than the feelings and opinions of murderers! Put the Fitna movie back up & let everyone see it. Who cares what the stupid Islamofacsists say, do or think? They have no respect for other religions. They certainly have no right to make anyone respect Islam or tell anyone to respect Islam when they won’t respect other religions. I am not a student of the Quran either Aluang Anak Bayang, but you seem to have some misconceptions about Christians. Kindly allow me to clear up some things. We Christians do not follow a mortal being. We follow God. We worship God and God alone. The Christian bible says we should worship God alone and that there is no other diety. God and Allah are the same God. We also believe that God came to Earth 2000 years ago as Jesus Christ to save us all from our sins. Can you PROVE that Allah wrote the Quran himself or is it something you believe? We Christians believe that the bible(both the old testament and the new testament) is the word of God. We can’t PROVE it. It is something we believe. Seriously if you are going to judge other religions you need to study them thoroughly and get your facts straight. We Christians believe in the Holy Trinity. That is NOT three gods, it’s ONE God in three “persons”(the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit).But it is still ONE Almighty God. And when I say “persons” I don’t mean humans. God is capable of everything. He can come to Earth as a million people at once if he chooses to. And He could wipe out the human race in the blink of an eye if He wants to. No one can presume to know the mind of God or how He thinks. He is far, far beyond all of us. How can anyone presume to know what God can or can’t do, or what He will or won’t do? No human being can ever really know. If muslims would study other faiths and ask the believers of those faiths questions, they would find that almost everyone in the world believes in one God, Creator of all things. You may even find similarities in all the faiths. At the very least it could clear up a lot of the misconceptions you may have about those religions. John also could study religions so that he can understand them. Athiests like John don’t believe in God but if they studied the world’s religions they may have a better understanding of them and of God and of why we all believe what we believe.

If Muslims want to live in NON muslim countries and PROVIT from ALL benevits those countries offer to them, then they better ACCEPT the freedom of expressions. But after i read the Koran i am VERY much afraid that the Islam and Muslims will ONLY try to conquer the world with their Islam religion………If the muslims love our money…..our better social systems and so on, then WHY do they hate the non-muslims that much ??????

I don’t see how this film can be an insult to Islam. All it does is show quotes from the Koran, show the sorts of events that are in line with them, and show Muslims and Muslim clerics saying what we have come to see that they do.
It could easily have been put out by Osama bin Laden or Ahmedinejad or very many Muslim leaders.
Wilders adds nothing, except a few phrases at the end.
Instead of being delivered in the segregated setting of a mosque, it has been shown to the rest of the world.
There is nothing false or misleading or insulting about it.

Could Aluang Anak Bayang please tell me what parts of the film Fitna were an inaccurate portrayal of Islam? Were the passages from the Quaran accurate translations?

I am also waiting with interest for an educated Muslim to respond to the questions raised in Jan de Vries contribution of 28 March.

Lastly, why in the year 2008, does Islam appear to be so obsessed with cutting throats and chopping heads off?

What is wrong with creating a peaceful world governed by Allah’s law? Democracy, Communism, Socialism are all man-made. With shariah law, women knows their rights and position in society. There will be no immoral issues as what you see in the Wests, no corruption, etc. The beauty of all will be scientific advances of human kind with the blessing of Allah swt.

This is incredibly insane. To all fellow humans out there (muslims and christians alike), please do think:

Does God really want His servants to kill one another? I mean why can’t he do it himself if he had wanted to? I mean he is GOD right? He could do anything he pleases for crying out loud.

I just recently read the Bible (The New Testament), and none of Jesus’ teachings would permit humans to kill one another, in fact, Jesus taught to love his enemies.

But I can’t say the same for the Koran because I’ve never read it. Imagine this:

What sort of God who asks His children to cut people’s throat with a sword and spill their blood? (The Koran, Surah 47:4)

What sort of God who tells His children to kill their enemies? and when they escape, to kill whereever they could find them? (The Koran, Surah 4:89)

What sort of God who permits vengeance?

The answer is: EVIL !

Aluang Anak Bayang I really agree with you we too in west want to live in peace. I’ll make a deal with you stay in your islamic countries and we will stay in the west and enjoy our free speech. So yes we are corrupt we are not moral we have porno ,we are non believers, so please don’t come to the west just leave us to live in peace as we have before. we really don’t want fanatics here we don’t like your way of looking at life you contribute nothing but strife to our society we will never believe in your god or your koran.
