Claiming a muslim ”invented” algebra is drawing a long bow. Muhammad bin MÅ«sÄ al-KhwÄrizmÄ« ( a persian) may have codified and expanded algebraic logic, but it had its roots back in the first millenium BC (BCE?) from diverse countries - greece, india, china, egypt, babylon..to name a few.
Anything before 612AD could not have been a muslim invention.
A fascinating thought - prior to the above date, many arabs would have been jews or even christians!

Not would but were. Right you were damned right they were and they still are. Like many Chinese who still carries the blood and are descendants of the Mongolians.
If I am not wrong, they were many quotations like what MK said from the Quran that mentioned people from 1AD, but I have never heard of anything mentioned in the Bibles that brought up any persons from the 500AD era…

Oh yeah one more is that when archeologist found the buddhas figurine carved out from the mountain the whatever din of afghanistan tried to fire rocket and have that demolish and the funny thing was that it snowed in afghanistan on the 3rd day and they stopped the bombing. well I guess that is another miracles.
