And that news clip was pretty ridiculous.. They might as well have used the music from “JAWS”. Seems a little dangerous to be “stirring the pot” with such a presentation. We never know when Indonesians will go amok-amok again.

It was a joke watching the today’s dialogue on metroTV last nite. On the one hand you had the MUI guy who was trying to say (though in a dancing around the topic kind of way) that sinister forces were behind sects like this, trying to discredit Islam (Jews perhaps? American Jews? American-Crusader-Zionist Jews?). On the other hand you had the guy from Jaringan Islam Liberal who continues that organisation’s line of defending the teachings of any and all sects which manage to rear their head with a membership of 10 or more.

Al Qiyadah al Islamiyah is clearly a heretical sect (seriously, would Christians on this forum accept if Muslims started saying ‘hey we’re Christians too, we believe in Jesus…. just not that he was the son of God or even the last of the messengers God sent to us). As such it should be treated as one – by ignoring it. Catholics in Australia didn’t go trashing up Little Pebble’s place down on the South Coast because he claimed to have inside information on religion and the day of Judgement from God. He was treated as a whacko and left to his own demise. No need for arrests, no need to go burning stuff down. Muslims have bigger problems to deal with.

The best thing I saw on that metroTV program last nite was the text which came up down the bottom of the screen at one stage informing viewers that the ‘prophet’ of this group was unable to attend the dialogue as he had received a revelation from God that he shouldn’t. At least provided a laugh in between the participants trying to take themselves (too) seriously.

More likely to be Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria etc etc. If indeed any at all.
I suppose conspiracy theories exhist every where.

Mashadi, chairman of the Forum Umat Islam (FUI), said on 26th October that the existence of Al Qiyadah Al Islamiyah was part of a systematic plot by certain groups to create discord among Muslims, and to hijack true Islam.

It’s certainly a Majapahit conspiracy.

Karma. Moslems used to be the victims – warred upon by naughty Qurayshians, declared heretics because molesms’ worshipping the singular Al Lat instead of legions. Why even the prophet pbuh himself got ridiculed by petty poets, it’s natural for moslems to retaliate hard and furious; otherwise this damned Qiyadah may turn potent enough to flourish and persuade other fools to its cause. Without strong and loud vigilance who knows may be someday Qiyadah and the likes will come to power and in their turn persecute moslems mercilessly back to the seventh century wasteland that was arabia….

My prediction is happening. Indonesia is in chaotic, muslim clerics issued ‘fatwa’ and threaten our law enforcement elements to run ‘AMOK’ yes, the very infamous amok may comeback shortly, ha ha ha.

I am not a prophet but statistician. Muslim like fighting, 50% muslim may dislike it but the rest think of it as big deal so they will fight. Unfortunately 90% Indon are muslims, so to the rest of non muslim minority … these stupidities are not your problems … you are not even part of this community , and you will never dream to fix their problems, so why wait .. get out from this hell. After all it is not you who change but your country is leading like Iran now

I always love if some people start to talk about conspiracy theory. As far as I know, conspiracy theory is campaigned by “losers”, either politically or socially.

Conspiracy theory is similar to gossips in the entertainment business. It seems interesting but it contains nothing.

The typical characteristics of a conspiracy theory: there is a latent danger pointing to certain party (mostly is not mentioned but if it is mention would probably be communists if not christians, jewish or even chinese) and an exaggerated line of story (the more the better).

To tell you the true Im not understant with the people who think that their religion is better than other. they all the same, pray to God only with defferent way of practice. And I think alqaida and similarity are moron from hell. But what so sad is that many moron in Indonesia too that need to be slap in their head.
