Police attempted to stop the stone-throwing and the attackers dispersed and went home

Man Indo police sound like an all around joke. How could the attackers simply be allowed to “go home”? Gus Dur is right. Stuff like this is the reason why investors avoid Indonesia like the plague.

Isn’t it the perfect condition for islamic fundamentalism to take root: poverty!
So, to my understanding, the strategy of those islamists:

[1] Infect the country from inside
[2] Make it unsuitable for business
[3] Economy collapses; people can’t think reasonably
[4] Push more of islamic sh*ts
    [5] Voila.

Islam…, how disgusting a “religion” can be?

We are going to see more of this in the future. Things are getting good for the good muslims now a days. Who dares to mess around with FPI, they have been around for years now, they are untouchable, even the police cant even handle them any more. But dont worry our muslim apologists always say; they are just a little tiny minority that has gone astray, they will soon come back to the right path.

Btw; Where is that allahuang guy? Has any one seen him lately? Kinda miss him.

    Poor indonesia, poor islam
poisoned by radical arabs for their political motives.
Islam should learn from Christianity about love and tolerance. Protestans and Catholics fought each other ages ago (also politics), but see today.

Weak. But yet another reason to like Gus Dur. Last time I checked he was a Muslim too.

If FPI an act on their own like that, then someday we should also form a group of a hundred people and label them as heretic (well, they are!) and burn them too!

It’s not supposed to work in that way because our country have something called LAW. But our law is just pajangan, so FPI bisa main hakin sendiri as often as they like.

Gus Dur is right, police and SBY must react strongly to this. But I doubt SBY can do anything while his partner is still JK. It’s a bit complex situation, maju salah mundur salah, because once he sweep them down, virtually he don’t need to apply for the next election, because most voters side with the idiots.

But having said that, a leader should do what is right and putting the best interest of the country as #1 priority, no matter the consequences.

And Putu Alberto, I agree with your analysis. Most of the time, the spread of poverty and Islam go hand in hand.

Yes Arema, maju terus pantang mundur instead of maju salah mundur salah.

Oh God! Please forgive them to those who attacked the Wahidiyah Movement. Bapak Polisi, catch those people who rampaged the Wahidiyah and bring them to justice.
We might have different opinions on interpretating something includes a religion. If you think you are on the right path, have people understand and realize in good ways such as discussion, attacking other’s property is crime, and anarchy is not the solution.
Let other people have their own interpretation and understanding about what we call a religion. Islam means peace as I learnt in Pengajian when I was a child. How could you convey a peace if the way you handle differences is brutal.
Please know that it’s okay to have different opinions and interpretations in Islam. Let Alloh be the only one who judge this matter. Again Bapak Polisi, catch those thugs who threatened and attacked the Wahidiyah members. Thank you.

Wahidiyah is “aliran sesat” or false/wrong islam sect. Many people suppress by their activities.
