“Meet the new boss….same as the old boss”
The Who.
it is important that outside observers should not interpret the strong challenge from Adang Daradjatun, a prominent member of a Muslim party, the Partai Keadilan Sejahtera, as an endorsement of Islamist extremism
Of course it shouldnt be interpreted that way, neither Adang nor the PKS said anything about syariat Islam or islamic extremism throughout the campaign.
This assurance was needed in view of neighbouring Tangerang’s absurd rules established by that large authority’s Islamist mayor.
Wasn’t Tangerang’s mayor a Golkar man?
Err… since when PKS had anything to do with ‘Islamist extremism’?
At this time, it is difficult to prove a relation of PKS and terrorist.
They have been quite success with their campaign “Bersih dan Peduli”. They get more and more vote.
I wish PDS can have the same achievement.
“Err”¦ since when PKS had anything to do with ‘Islamist extremism’?”
“At this time, it is difficult to prove a relation of PKS and terrorist. ”
Tamsil Linrung (PKS member for South Sulawesi) was arrested at Manila a/p with a brief case full of explosives in 2002; you will be proud to note he is a fully fledged member of the Indonesian political apparatus (i.e. he has been ‘democratically elected’ to parliament).
It also helps when your close friend and VP of your country is another terrorist sympathiser (Hamzah Haz) and he can make a phone call and get you released.
That is only the start; the PKS is an extremist sympathiser party, they have an ‘udang balik batu’; wake up Indonesia.
