Hitmen in Jakarta may be advertising their services via email.

Jakarta Police Public Relations chief Ketut Untung Yoga on the 28th warned people who recieve emails offering contract murder services that the sender may not be legitimate, he might just want the money and once paid he will not do the killing. Ketut promised further investigations:

We will study this case first.

Sisno Adiwinoto, another member of the apparently bulging police Public Relations division, reminded listeners that killing for money is a crime. Even if the emails were just a scam the police would deal with it: [1]

We will take action against those responsible for the emails.

One of the emails reads:

The method of killing is up to you. We can just shoot the person and make it look like a robbery, or a traffic accident can be arranged by sabotaging the brakes, or we can use a hard to trace poison so it looks like a heart attack.

Bombs and AK-47's are available for use as well.

Those who are interested in the hitmen for hire services are instructed to send their telephone number and say what time they would like to be contacted. [2]

A criminologist at the University of Indonesia, Masdiana, says that although the emails are likely to be fake hitmen for hire do exist. The murder of the Director of computer firm PT Asaba, Budiarto Angsono, in 2003 was carried out in a contractual way, by a military reservist, he said, and there existed networks of hitmen connected with the military. And of course if the money is right the law can also be bought, even after you are convicted and sent to jail, you can always buy remission for your sentence.

Why hiring a pseudo hitman while you can easily found a preman in the street who will be more happy to kill anyone for a few bucks.

Good they warn us for those fake hitmen, better be sure you get a real one, so you get value for you money. Always the same story with those fakers, lots of promises but when it comes to doing the job you just get the same lame excuses.

Sisno Adiwinoto, another member of the apparently bulging police Public Relations division, reminded listeners that killing for money is a crime.

He says that now? Could he have told me earlier then? I thought only killing for free was a crime, but now killing for money has become a crime too. Bummer! Mr.Adiwinoto thank you for spoiling my day!

It is always good to see that are still people left who hold customer service in the highest esteem.

Haha that was exactly what I was thinking when I read that article.

People be careful, if you want to have someone killed, do NOT react to those emails.

As Bas said, preman has always been there even pre-internet days. And they probably are cheaper.

It shouldnt be hard to investigate, just pretend that they are interested in their service and catch em! But judging from the last paragraph, these “hit men” know the right people to get away with murder/s, the judge of the case probably also receives dead threats.

So what are they saying, Make sure your killer for hire comes from a reputable company.

    Like the army for instance.

Maybe the government or police can issue a Certificate of Proof, so you are sure that you are dealing with a real hitman instead of a faker. It is always sad to see that people are so dishonest and only want the money without actually working for it.
